The air thickens. The shadow grows longer.
White Heat No. 2 picks up where the first left off — the path has opened into a pale courtyard, centered by a single umbrella that seems to both resist and surrender to the sun. It's the only object in the frame that suggests movement, and yet it too feels paused, held in time like a sundial casting a perfect circle.
The buildings remain unchanged — unbothered, eternal. The light slices down the wall at a sharper angle now, hinting that the day has shifted. If No. 1 was the breath in, this is the exhale. And still, no one is seen. But their presence is felt — in the worn threshold, in the angle of the chair just out of frame, in the slight lean of the umbrella.
This piece is not about the Mediterranean. It is the Mediterranean — distilled into shadow and stone, warmth and windlessness. It captures that suspended hour when the world slows, and meaning drifts in like sea air.
When paired with White Heat No. 1, the diptych creates a visual dialogue — two fragments of the same dream, speaking softly across the wall.
QUALITY
Most online print on-demand retailers use cheap wood frames and paper. At Lndn Gray, we explored many options to offer the best price and quality. We have partnered with a family-owned printer and framer in Los Angeles to support local businesses and offer the highest quality product.
PRINTING
Printed on the highest quality material using pigment-based archival inks.
FRAMING
Framed Art Prints feature a contemporary high quality solid wood frame. Pieces come ready to hang with a wire hanger and paper backing. Framed with a white, 2" matte border.
Framed Canvases feature a floating hardwood frame, hand stretched and stapled, with a scratch-resistant UV coating.
HANGING
Our art does not come with a hanging kit, acknowledging the diverse preferences people have for displaying their pieces. This provides you the flexibility to choose a hanging method that best suits your specific needs and wall type.
Do you offer products in sizes or options different than the options on your website?
- We offer a wide variety of products in different sizes and options. The options on our website are what we currently offer and are available. If you'd like our products to have different sizes or options, please let us know and we'll look into exploring if these new sizes/options are available to add.
Can I change or cancel my order?
- Once you place your order, you may be able to change or cancel your order if your order has not already been sent to production. Once your order is in production, unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes or cancel your order. If you cancel your order in production, you may still be responsible for the cost of the product canceled as our products are custom printed.
I received a damaged product, what do I do?
- Please reach out to our customer support team describing the damaged product and be sure to include photo evidence of the damaged product in your order. If for any reason your new artwork arrives in anything other than perfect condition please let us know and we will replace the piece.
What are your exchange, refund, and return policies?
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Our products are uniquely crafted and custom printed upon receipt of every order. In addition, we specifically tailor the cutting of each piece of wood to the precise requirements for each unique order. Given the custom nature of our production process, we regret to inform you that we cannot accept returns or exchanges. This policy is due to the fact that each piece we create is uniquely printed, framed, and tailored based on the specific parameters we receive for each customer.
PROCESSING
In order to provide this level of quality and care, we have a processing time of up to 2 weeks. Your piece is made to order and printed and framed at a professional framing shop. During this time, we carefully prepare your item for shipping, checking it for any defects or imperfections and ensuring that it is packed securely and safely.
SHIPPING
We're committed to printing and shipping your order within a respected time. Your orders will receive an estimated delivery date but this may vary. Expect an estimated shipping time of 1 week. Your orders will receive a tracking link that can be used to track your order.
